On October 11, 2025, UYP (Upojeyo Tarunno) organized an open discussion at its Barishal office room titled “Health and SRHR – Ensuring Participation of Marginalized Communities in Dialogues and Actions (Phase–02).”

Through this program, participants not only gained knowledge and understanding about SRHR but also had the opportunity to share their personal experiences, challenges, and opinions in an open discussion. The joint initiative of training and dialogue aimed to ensure the active participation of marginalized communities and to identify solution-oriented actions to address real-life issues.

Local residents from Stadium Colony, Palashpur Colony, and Shishu Park Colony, along with youth representatives, women, and adolescent girls from various professions, took part in the event.

The chief guest of the program was Pronoy Halder, Upazila Family Planning Officer. Also present were Momena Sifa Rumki (Public Speaker and Trainer, Member of Shochhori). The event was moderated by Abu Bakkar Siddique (Nabin) (Advocate), while the welcome speech was delivered by Jayhori Biswas (Youth Officer).

Afterwards, an open discussion was held where participants freely expressed their experiences and expectations. Following the discussion, the chief guest provided valuable guidance through his speech. The event concluded with a closing speech from Salma Khanam (Project Officer), who presided over the session.
