On 22 September, Monday, UYP (Unstoppable Youth) Chattogram Center organized a workshop with the adolescents of Krishna Kumari City Corporation Girls’ High School in the city.
The workshop focused on providing clear understanding of the natural changes during adolescence, creating awareness about health and hygiene, learning ways to cope with mental stress, fear, and confusion, and discussing mutual respect and gender equality.
Through this workshop, adolescent girls were encouraged to confidently accept their physical and mental changes. All participants took part actively in the sessions.
The workshop was presided over by Project Officer Apu Dasgupta and attended by Assistant Teachers Suchana Dhar and Sangeeta Kar Chowdhury. The program was conducted by Youth Officer Annie Chowdhury.
