On 22 September 2025, an open discussion program titled “Ensuring Participation of Marginalized Communities in Health and SRHR Dialogues and Activities” was organized at the UYP (Aparajeyo Tarunno) Dhaka office room.
Representatives from the Harijan community, youth representatives, transgender individuals, persons with disabilities, women, and adolescent girls, along with people from different walks of life, participated in the event.
The chief guests were Ms. Ferdousi Akhter Rita, Principal Consultant, EQMS Consulting Limited, and Ms. Morjina Ahmed, Founder and Executive Director, Disabled Welfare Society.
The program began with a welcome speech delivered by Project Officer Hozayfa Sakwan. Project Officer Tanzina Sultana conducted a PowerPoint presentation, followed by an open discussion where participants openly shared their experiences and expectations.
After the discussion, the chief guest provided overall guidance through her speech. Finally, Project Manager Md. Abu Raihan delivered the closing remarks and officially concluded the program.
