
On the initiative of UYP , Mymensingh Center, the program “Disability Inclusive Health Initiatives” was held on September 22 at 11:00 AM.
The event was organized with the core theme of “Ensuring effective initiatives for inclusive health services for youth with disabilities, access to health-related services at government and non-government levels, and raising awareness on disability issues.”
The program was conducted by Sanjoy Roy, Youth Officer of UYP Mymensingh Center, and presided over by Project Officer Resmina Haque. Guests present at the event included Mr. Rafiul Karim, Central Manager, CRP Mymensingh Center; Ms. Maksuda Khatun, Social Services Officer, Mymensingh Sadar Upazila; and Mr. Md. Hedayetul Islam, Accounts and Admin Officer, RHSTEP Mymensingh Center.
The program began with a welcome speech and introduction session conducted by Sanjoy Roy, followed by speeches from the distinguished guests. During the discussion, the guests exchanged views with participants regarding various civic services, accessibility, and challenges faced by people with disabilities. They highlighted the importance of ensuring inclusive participation of youth with disabilities in healthcare services.
Participants expressed their expectations for necessary and effective initiatives from both government and non-government levels to ensure proper solutions to the issues.
Finally, Project Officer Resmina Haque delivered the closing remarks and officially announced the conclusion of the program.
