On September 20, 2025, a discussion was held on “Inclusive Health Reforms for Persons with Disabilities” organized by UYP Khulna Center.
The chief guest on the occasion was Dr. Al-Amin. Abdullah Chowdhury (MBBS, Dhaka University) Doctor Welfare Activist, Khulna Medical College Hospital; Shahinur Mam, Manager, NSBP; and Kabir Ahmed, Unit Manager, RAESTEP Khulna Centre.
The meeting was inaugurated by Project Officer Sujoy Chowdhury Samay. Youth Officer Noshin Tabassum then presented a report on the problems of disabled people and possible solutions. At the same time, their experiences and demands were also heard from the disabled participants.
Later, in the concluding remarks, the guests identified the problems and expressed their views on ways to draw the attention of the authorities concerned rather than being limited to discussions. At the end of the programme, prizes were distributed among the winners.
The meeting concluded with the closing remarks of the Project Officer and the formal announcement by the Youth Officer.
