On September 16, 2025, a discussion was held on “Active Participation of Marginalized Group on SRHR Dialogue and Action” titled “My Health, My Rights – The Journey of Equality” organized by UYP Khulna Center.
The chief guest at the function was Govt. L. Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy. M. Ismael Hossain, coordinator of Rupsha Gonoshasthaya Kendra, Khulna, Sakhawat Hossain Biplob, coordinator of Rupsha Gonoshasthaya Kendra, and Kabir Ahmed, unit manager of RAESTEP Khulna Centre.
The meeting was inaugurated by Project Officer Sujoy Chowdhury Samay with a welcome speech and icebreaking session. Later, the participants, led by Mentor Muhtasim Mahmud Sukhon, discussed role play and youth leadership. Later, Youth Officer Noshin Tabassum and Project Officer Sujoy Chowdhury conducted a discussion on SRHR, gender equity and cyberbullying among adolescents.
“In the group activity, which was led by Youth Officer Noshin Tabassum, participants created a” “tree of change,” “which caused special interest among all.” At the end of various sessions, the guests delivered important speeches on SRHR and inclusion of marginalized communities and distributed gifts among the participants. Finally, the Project Officer delivered the closing remarks and the Youth Officer formally announced the end of the meeting.
